World card Making Day Challenge #4

Welcome to the Res-Q-Challenge Health Fair for World Card-Making Day. Your final stop at today's health fair is the dreaded vaccination station!

Now don't worry, I'm not going to make you roll up your sleeve for a shot today. Instead, I want you to put your needle to work on a card with some paper-piericing. Paper piercing is a great way to add a little fun detail to your card projects. You can use a simple line, add a few pierces to your corners, or pull out a piercing template to create an ornate flourish or other design. You don't need any special supplies - you can use an old computer mouse pad and a thumb tack, push pin or sewing needle to do your piercing if that's what you have on hand. Just be careful not to pierce your finger, or we'll have to send the Res-Q squad over! :)

When you're done with your creation, upload it to your blog or an online gallery and post a link here in the comments section. Don't forget to add RESQWCMD4 to the keyword, tag or label of your card when uploading to an online gallery.Everyone who comments on or participates in all four of today's health fair challenges will be entered in a prize contest! Thanks for playing and Happy World Card-Making Day!

World Card Making Day Challenge #2

Here is our next Challenge brought to you by Pat (casep on SCS)...

We're having a Health Fair today at the Res-Q Challenge. One thing you can do at a health fair is to have your vision tested. We are all familiar with reading the letter chart. It's actually called a Snellen Chart!

My challenge is for you to make a card featuring a large letter on the front. Your letter can be stamped, or chipboard, or cut out of a magazine. Just be sure it is big and bold like the letter chart.

Get that mojo going and make a card!

Use keyword RESQWCMD2 in your online galleries and make sure you post it here to be entered in the contest!

World Card Making Day Challenge #1

Welcome to the Res-Q-Challenge Health Fair for World Card-Making Day. We’re so glad you could join us! Let’s get things started with your hearing check. What’s that you say? A HEARING check? Yep, time to check those decibel levels! Your challenge is to make a card that SHOUTS, “Pay attention to me!” Either make it LOUD and BOISTEROUS or include an embellishment that turns up the volume on your sketch! Here’s my sample, and be sure to come back at 2:00 PM (EDT) when Pat, our “ophthalmologist” on call will check your vision. Have fun. Let us know where your “Hearing Results” are located by leaving us a comment below. If you upload to an online gallery use RESQWCMD1 for the keyword, tag, or label. I said, "HAVE FUN WITH THIS CHALLENGE!!!!!!"
