We've all heard the phrase "one man's trash is another man's treasure". When I think of this phrase, I cannot help but think of my boyfriend Joe. Not that he is trash mind you...but because his ex-wife thought the "grass was greener" and threw away their 12 year marriage. While I feel bad that Joe was put in this situation, I am grateful for his ex's indiscretion and for creating the opportunity for Joe and I to meet. Her "trash" is now my "treasure".
My challenge for you today is to make a treasure out of trash. Start with a card you've already made...you know, one that you never really liked or one that was maybe missing something so it's in a scrap pile (I have a bunch of these cards). If you don't have an old card, use scraps and start from there. Now, re-work your trashy card, snazz it up, show it some love, give it attention...brownie points if you make it a thank you card. When you're finished, send this little treasure out to someone speical in your life.
Remember, there are no time limits, vendor restrictions or other rules for the challenge. It's only for fun and inspiration. When uploading your card to Splitcoaststampers, Papercraft Planet, StampTV or any other site, please use the keyword RESQ04TT.
